MLEC operates under a Community and Revenue Positive Policy with the municipalities we serve. This means that we always strive to deliver a revenue positive service for the municipality (without monthly quotas), while at the same time supporting a friendly community atmosphere.

PROACTIVE AND REACTIVE MUNICIPAL ENFORCEMENT

We are committed to delivering timely response to complaints in addition to proper ongoing enforcement of commercial and residential areas. As a result, MLEC utilizes a balanced combination of Reactive enforcement (responding to complaints) and Proactive enforcement (patrolling for infractions).

For municipalities that are divided geographically into Residential Enforcement Zones (REZs), we use a rotating REZ grid to ensure comprehensive enforcement while still maintaining community friendliness. Unless a particular area requires daily attention due to excessive complaints, no particular street or area is “targeted” or repeatedly enforced. A significant benefit to the rotating schedule is that residents will have time to react and adjust to enforcement measures, which may also result in fewer complaints to municipal offices.

PRIVATE PROPERTY PARKING ENFORCEMENT

For our private condominium, co-op, non-profit housing, and commercial clients, our team of friendly and highly experienced officers can provide services that range from issuance of non-fee notices to fee-based municipal tickets. We pride ourselves in professionalism and deportment in providing a fair and equitable enforcement service to our clients, and in ensuring their customers are always treated with dignity and respect. In fact, our team is often so efficient and non-obtrusive that only those parking illegally would ever know that enforcement is taking place in the community or on the property. Regular customers and visitors are free to come and go without interruption.

ADVANCED E-ENFORCEMENT TECHNOLOGIES

Through our partnership with Enforcement Solutions Corp, Canada’s leading e-enforcement solutions developer, MLEC has been able to outfit its officers with the latest in cloud-based e-ticket issuance technologies. Our officers can print tickets at locations using a lightweight thermal printer that is paired with their Smartphone. Plus our customer service representatives have the ability to receive payments and access the collected data in real time with a back-office e-ticketing management integration platform.
